We make candles in small batches, one season at a time, in the Hudson Valley.

Cantique started at a farmers market — a few scents poured at the kitchen table, sold to neighbors. It grew because we paid attention. We pour in coconut apricot wax, not paraffin. We use clean fragrance. Every candle is made by hand, in our studio, before it makes its way to you.

Our scents are tied to places we know. The cold morning that smells like cedar smoke. The porch that holds the last hour of summer light. The kitchen at the end of a long Sunday. They are quiet, specific, and rooted.
